about

Raijin is a god of lightning, thunder and storms in the Shinto religion and in Japanese mythology. His name is derived from the Japanese words rai (雷, meaning ‘thunder’) and shin (神, ‘god’ or 'kami'). He is typically depicted as a demon-looking spirit beating drums to create thunder. This mythological god was the inspiration for this collaboration. Heavy use of percussion and intense electronics were utilized for this collaboration. This is one of my most favorite "loud" recordings I have been a part of and a real honor to work with the great and powerful KK Null.
